Streamline Support Services

Streamline Support Services (SSS) empowers young people through education, culture and care, building meaningful futures and stronger family ties.
Our mission is grounded in cultural understanding, respect, and inclusion, believing every young person deserves the chance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Streamline Support Services (SSS) was established in January 2024 as an education support program for disengaged youth who are not currently attending school.
Our Lead Teacher, Kim, brings over 20 years of experience teaching in rural and remote communities across Far North Queensland, with a deep commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families.
His extensive experience and cultural understanding guide the work we do every day.

At Streamline Support Services (SSS), we provide holistic, culturally grounded support for children, young people, and families, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous.
Our services are designed to meet social, emotional, physical, and educational needs, empowering individuals and families to move toward self-reliance and strong futures.
Our team is proudly made up of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Island and Pasifika professionals—young, passionate, and highly skilled in their fields. We bring lived experience and cultural strength to the work we do, ensuring that every young person and family receives respectful, tailored support to reach their full potential.

Referrals can be made by case workers, residential care providers, family members, or other professionals. In some cases, young people and families can reach out directly to us, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
Most of our services are funded through government or agency partnerships. If you're unsure whether you're eligible, get in touch and we’ll let you know what options are available. There are no costs to young people or families in most cases.
Once we receive your enquiry or referral, someone from our team will contact you during business hours (Mon–Fri). We’ll arrange a time to meet, get to know the young person, and work together on a support plan that’s culturally safe, respectful, and effective.
Our team is mobile—we come to you. Whether it’s at a placement, home, or another safe space, we meet young people where they’re most comfortable. We currently operate across the Cairns Region.
Whether you're a family member, carer, service provider or interested in partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you.
Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (AEST), and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
